Insurance

We also accept patients with medical insurance companies listed here. In this case, you must pay your copay at each visit, as described here.

Before we file a claim for you we will verify your coverage with your insurance company. If we are unable to verify coverage, we will bill you as a cash patient.

Billing Service

All of our billing is done by a separate company, KLO Professional Billing. Their phone number is (630) 789-2550. All questions regarding bills should be directed to KLO.

KLO will forward all necessary claim forms to bill your insurance company for services. After KLO receives a response and payment, they will credit your account. After insurers respond to their claims, you may receive a bill from KLO for any remaining charges, such as deductibles, co-insurance, or non-covered services or fees.

If you have Medicare and supplemental coverage and have notified Medicare of this, Medicare will automatically forward your claim to your supplemental carrier after they process it. After KLO receives response and payment from your supplemental carrier, you may receive a bill from KLO for any unpaid portion. If you do not have supplemental coverage to Medicare, you may receive a bill from KLO after we receive Medicare’s response

Payment is expected within 30 days of the receipt of our statement as described here.

Laboratory Charges

We charge only for venipuncture (blood drawing) and a few tests done on site at our office. The remainder of any lab charges will be billed to your insurance by the laboratory. You may receive a bill from the laboratory for any balance not covered by your insurance.
