Seasonal Flu Vaccine
Update 12/7/09
We are out of our seasonal flu vaccine for the year, but we still have H1N1 vaccine.
H1N1 Vaccine
We have entered into a lottery with the state of Illinois to receive doses of the H1N1(swine flu) vaccine. This will be a separate vaccine from the seasonal flu vaccine due to manufacturing challenges with the H1N1 vaccine. We hope to receive the H1N1 vaccine in middle to late October, so please check back here. Due to limited supplies, we will be giving the H1N1 vaccine, according to the IDPH and ACIP guidelines, to the following people:
- Pregnant women
- Household contacts and caregivers of infants less than 6 months old
- Healthcare and emergency workers
- All people 6 months to 24 years old
- People 25-64 years old with health conditions that put them at higher risk of complications of flu (asthma, diabetes, etc)

Update 12/7/09
